Jane, Gene, and Peggy Griffith Crawford

"Greatest of Treasures"

Jane Gene Peg

Jane, Gene, and Peggy Griffith Crawford.

Children of Helen & Chester Griffith. I was 14 when I met Peggy and became a frequent person in their home. So blessed to later become part of an Amazing family.

When I met Peggy, I was living with my Grandmother (Alice Hartshorn), because I was homeless after my parents divorced. There is no question God had plans for Peg and I. Since meeting my Country Girl, we have been through many trials, many good times, and many bad times, but in every situation, we found God faithful through the years. We will be married 60 years this August, and we have spent our entire married life serving God in Church and various ways. Peggy taught Sunday School worked with children and most of all supported me.

"Greatest of Treasures" was one of the first songs given to me by the Holy Spirit.

by Gary L. Crawford for Peg rewrite 5/1/2024

Broken and lonely so hard to stand. My life was empty no one to love or hold my hand. That's when I met you that’s when our love began.  God knew my heartache, He cares he understands.

Chorus:

Worth more than diamonds, more precious than gold, worth more than anything in this world I've ever known, sent from my Father, his give, of Love. Greatest of Treasures, my woman I Love.

Second verse

I may never be wealthy with houses or land, I may never be a King or ruler among man. But I’ve been blessed by my father's loving hand. He gave me my woman to love and Hold My Hand

Proverbs 12:4  A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband: Proverbs 31:10-31

10 Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. Genesis 2:23 bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh:
